Vicki Sinar is a Senior Vice President, Private Client Advisor and Institutional Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Chicago, Illinois. Vicki consults with affluent individuals, families, business owners and women going through divorce, as well as foundations and endowments, on a range of financial needs.  She leads a team of specialists who look to harness the vast resources of Bank of America, mindful of each client’s distinctive priorities, values and intentions. Her areas of focus include investment management, wealth strategy including trust and estate planning, philanthropy and lending. For institutional clients, she and her team offer customized advice and guidance in investing, governance, strategic planning and board and staff development. 

Vicki believes strongly in the value of financial empowerment for clients of all backgrounds and life stages. She particularly enjoys supporting women in transition and successive generations of client families, helping them enhance their financial knowledge and comfort. A natural connector, Vicki offers an intuitive understanding for people and their priorities, ever mindful of the “big picture.” She recognizes the unique preferences and objectives of each client, catering to that singularity through a highly customized approach. Vicki points to the Private Bank’s team structure, high-touch service and boutique environment as important factors that differentiate each client’s experience.

Vicki joined Bank of America Private Bank in 2011. Previously, she served in a similar advisory capacity at Northern Trust. Her career also includes 12 years with Morgan Stanley, where she was an Institutional Fixed Income Specialist.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Michigan and her M.B.A. in finance and marketing from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. 
 
In her free time, Vicki enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and working out.  She serves on the Development Committee for the Lilac Tree, a nonprofit organization that supports and educates individuals and families during separation and divorce.
