Edward T. Henderson (Ted) is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management in Greenwich, Connecticut. Ted works with high net worth individuals, families and institutions coordinating investment management with financial strategy, tax efficiency, and planning with a client’s overall goals and objectives. His client base has included CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, private equity principals, deferred compensation plans, as well as foundations and endowments.

As a Private Client Advisor, Ted leads a team of U.S. Trust® specialists with in-depth knowledge of investments, trust and estate planning, financial planning, philanthropy, family office services, and credit and lending through Bank of America, N.A. Ted oversees the design and implementation of customized strategies, monitoring and adjusting for changes in family situations, governance needs, investment policy restructuring and life events.

Prior to joining U.S. Trust in 2014, Ted was a Senior Wealth Strategist with Northern Trust in New York for over eight years. Ted moved to Northern Trust from Robbins and Henderson LLC, a small boutique Direct Access brokerage firm, where he was a Partner and Chief Operating Officer. His career also included tenures with Merrill Lynch and Salomon Brothers working with institutional investors.

Ted received his B.A. from Georgetown University. He is the former president and current board member of The Greenwich Leadership Forum, and a member of the board of trustees of The Fishers Island Development Corporation. He is a former board member of The Fishers Island Recreational Foundation and The Tokeneke Association.
