Steve Lipp is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. Steve works closely with families to develop customized offerings that respond to the opportunities and challenges of family wealth and business transition.

In addition to Texas, Steve also advises a number of clients in the Bakken region of North Dakota, and Montana.  Steve understands the importance of family heritage. He formerly managed his own family’s ranches in Montana and Alberta, over 20,000 acres.

Steve helps clients address long-term goals, such as wealth preservation across multiple generations and effective wealth transfer. He draws on the extensive experience of U.S. Trust’s Specialty Asset Management group in helping clients manage their physical assets including oil and gas, ranch and farming operations, and timber. Steve is a direct and involved advisor to the families he serves and believes in the value of face-to-face contact along with on-the-ground experience.

Steve earned his B.S. from Montana State University in Agricultural Economics and attended the Ranch Management Program at Texas Christian University. He began his financial services career in 1997 with Morgan Stanley, where he was a Financial Advisor and Branch Manager. In 2003, Steve joined Bank of America, working for seven years as Sales Manager and Market Director. He joined U.S. Trust in 2011.

Steve is active in his church, where he leads a young professionals group.
