Rafiq is a Vice President and Private Client Associate at U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management.  U.S. Trust is an industry leader in serving the high-net-worth market for more than 150 years helping clients make the most of wealth management opportunities for themselves, their families, their businesses, and their legacies.

In this role, he is responsible for connecting high net worth individuals, businesses and institutions to solutions that can help them reach their financial goals by providing a team based approach that may include a highly credentialed Wealth Strategist, Portfolio Manager and Trust Officer, as well as other specialists.  His approach combines the client experience of a boutique-like private bank with access to extensive resources, including investment management, financial and succession planning, philanthropic and specialty asset management, family office services, financial administration, family trust stewardship, banking offerings and customized credit solutions including commercial real estate and art lending for high net worth individuals, businesses and institutions. 

Rafiq is an avid volunteer at the Aga Khan Foundation.  The Aga Khan Foundation brings together human, financial and technical resources to address some of the challenges faced by the poorest and most marginalized communities in the world.

Rafiq holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license but does not provide accounting advice in his role with U.S. Trust.  Rafiq holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Rotman School of Management at University of Toronto and a master's degree in alternative investments and real estate from New York University.
