Michael Stogner is a Managing Director, Private Client Advisor, and Institutional Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Atlanta, Georgia. Michael has over two decades of experience serving the needs of corporate executives, high-net-worth families, private foundations, and nonprofit institutions. He offers a highly customized approach, connecting clients to the resources and capabilities that align with their immediate needs, as well as their long-term objectives. Michael’s tenure and continuity with the firm heighten his effectiveness in addressing the subtleties of each client’s situation. He directs a multi-disciplinary approach, collaborating with specialists in investments, trust and estate planning, credit and banking, business executive services, and philanthropy. As an Institutional Client Advisor, Michael also supports nonprofit organizations in their efforts to optimize their endowments, enhance their organizational capacity, and fulfill their missions.

Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 1995, Michael was a Senior Tax Associate with Coopers and Lybrand. He has completed executive education through the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation. He earned his B.S.B.A. in accounting from Old Dominion University.

Michael is a member of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council. He also volunteers with a number of youth athletic organizations in the greater Atlanta area, is a current board member of the Atlanta Community Food Bank and is past chairman and current member of Fowler YMCA in Gwinnett County.
