Matthew Y. Wong, CFP® is a Vice President and Private Client Advisor at U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. In this role, he is responsible for connecting high net worth individuals and institutions to strategies that can help reach their financial goals. His approach combines the client experience of a boutique like private bank with access to extensive resources, including traditional, specialty asset, alternative, and capital market investment solutions as well as customized credit and banking offerings. 

Prior to joining the U.S. Trust, Matthew worked at JP Morgan Chase and Morgan Stanley where he advised high-net worth individuals and institutions on their investment, retirement, education, and estate planning strategies. During his graduate studies, Matthew worked briefly at KPMG Consulting and advised major financial institutions (Charles Schwab, MUFG Union Bank, BNP Paribas) on corporate strategy.

Matthew obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern California and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside. During undergrad, he also studied abroad at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Matthew currently serves on the board of the Bank of America Asian Leadership Network and is an active member of the USC Asian Pacific Alumni Association. He is fluent in Mandarin & Cantonese.
