Lee Ward is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, in Houston. He has particular depth working with ranch owners, helping them address critical inflection points in their long-term wealth: oil and gas leases, grazing-rights negotiations, and other specialty asset-management needs. 

Lee draws upon his own experience in both finance and ranching to help clients develop a more thoughtful and informed approach to deploying their long-term wealth. Lee grounds his work in a thorough assessment of risk, helping clients better understand the nuances of their own situations, as well as the interplay of multiple factors on their investment portfolios, balance sheets, and wealth-transfer objectives. Lee customizes his approach based on the vision, values, and dynamic of each family, helping foster sound stewardship in successive generations.

Prior to joining U.S. Trust, Lee served as a Wealth Advisor with Wells Fargo Private Bank in Houston for five years. Previously, he was a Relationship Manager with JP Morgan Private Bank, also in Houston. He began his financial services career in 2002 after earning his BBA degree in Finance, Magna Cum Laude, from Texas Christian University.

A member of a second-generation ranching family, Lee spends much of his free time assisting with his family’s active cattle ranch on the Gulf Coast. His hobbies include playing and watching a variety of sports, as well as hunting and fishing.
