Lauren Peterson is a Private Client Advisor in the Newport Beach office of U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. Lauren works with wealth creators throughout Southern California to help them streamline, enhance, and preserve their financial legacies. She is keenly attuned to the needs of entrepreneurs and business owners, applying the acumen she has gained from more than three decades working with high net worth families. As the leader of a client’s U.S. Trust® team, Lauren orchestrates the efforts of in-house specialists who work in concert to devise tailored strategies in investment management—including lending, trust and estate planning services, wealth structuring, and philanthropy.

Lauren recognizes the importance of timely action and cohesive effort. She advises clients and their family members about critical junctures in their financial lives, such as liquidity events or the transfer of a family business. Sensitive to tax and estate implications, she seeks to develop efficient initiatives that capitalize on opportunities while advancing a client’s long-term objectives. Lauren’s approach is personal and intensely committed to a client’s wellbeing. She sees herself as a builder – someone who channels the extensive resources available at U.S. Trust to develop valuable initiatives.

Lauren has worked at Bank of America since 2008. Previously, she spent more than 25 years with financial firms and in private law practice directly advising accomplished families.

Lauren earned her bachelor’s degree from Capital University and her law degree with top honors from Capital University Law School.* She lives in Orange County and she was the founder and former Executive Director of The African Child Fund, a non-profit organization that assists AIDS orphans in Kenya and is active in a number of philanthropic organizations in the region.
