Jonathan Dry is a Private Client Advisor and Senior Vice President with U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. Jonathan works closely with high net worth individuals, families and companies to help develop and implement integrated wealth strategies that reflect clients' personal priorities and goals.

Jonathan is particularly skilled in catering to the needs of family-owned and privately held businesses. He assists business owners in varied stages of growth, from young companies to established enterprises. Leading a team of U.S. Trust® specialists, Jonathan strives to address a range of needs, including business lending, pre-transaction planning, succession planning, exit strategy, cash-flow modeling, trust and estate planning services, and philanthropy. Having grown up in a family business, Jonathan knows first-hand the challenges and satisfactions that business owners face. He recognizes the importance of long-term strategy and timely execution in helping business owners preserve wealth for multiple generations. Jonathan also works closely with professional athletes, to help address their distinctive wealth management needs.

Jonathan began his career in 2002 at the Bank of Stanly in Albemarle, North Carolina. In 2004, Jonathan joined Bank of America’s Private Bank, now U. S. Trust. He was a Portfolio Manager for seven years prior to becoming a Private Client Advisor.

Originally from Albemarle, Jonathan earned his B.S.B.A. from The Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where he was a member of the football team. He holds an M.B.A. from Wake Forest University. Jonathan holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He also holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation.

Jonathan is an active member of his church and of the Association for Corporate Growth.
