Guiding effective collaboration across a team of highly focused, in-house specialists, he spearheads integrated initiatives in investment management, trust and estate planning services, banking and lending, and philanthropy. 

A creative thinker, John enjoys solving problems to advance clients objectives. Drawing on his years of experience as an entrepreneur, he helps business owners navigate key crossroads in the growth and development of their enterprises. From helping to grow a business, to realizing its value through a sale, John and his team can connect clients to the resources and capabilities that align with their unique needs, including succession planning, exit strategies, and structuring of their ownership interests to help achieve their specific objectives.

John joined Bank of America in 2000 and the Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2015. Over the course of his career, he has held several roles at the bank, including personal banker, small business specialist and banking center manager. Previously, he was a vice president and financial center manager at the Del Amo Center in Torrance, California, where he oversaw client outreach, operations and team management.

John earned his bachelor’s degree from California State University, Northridge. He currently serves as co-chair of the Asian Leadership Network at Bank of America.
