James Lee is a Private Client Adviser at U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. In his role, his focus is on integrating wealth management services, such as investment management, personal trust and estate planning, charitable giving, customized banking and lending. 

Formerly a practicing attorney with over 18 years of wealth management experience and prior to joining U.S. Trust, James managed the wealth planning and financial planning group at the headquarters' office of Wells Fargo's Private Bank.  He also worked as a relationship manager for the multi-family office group at Merrill Lynch, focusing on estate planning services, private foundation consulting, and investment management. Before entering the wealth management industry, James was a practicing attorney in the Corporate and Tax Group at a major San Francisco based law firm, providing tax and wealth transfer advice to successful business owners, real estate developers, corporate executives and multi-generational family trusts and foundations.* 

James received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Minnesota.  He earned his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law and received a Master's of Law in Taxation from Golden Gate University Law School with honors.
