Jack Heiss is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank, based in the Tampa Bay area of Florida.  He draws on more than 35 years of financial experience, working closely with clients to help them define and pursue the wealth management goals that are most important to them. Jack and his team focus on ultra-high-net-worth families and individuals, including active and retired business owners.  

As the leader of the Private Bank team, Jack brings together seasoned specialists who are committed to helping clients manage the complexities of their wealth. He sets high professional standards to help the team focus on the client’s unique wealth management goals and then measure progress toward each goal. The team can design and deliver strategies for investment, philanthropy, and pre- and post-liquidity event planning. They also offer trust and estate planning services, as well as customized credit and lending solutions.         

Before joining the Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2013, Jack had senior leadership positions at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and Banc of America Investments. His previous experience includes roles as Florida regional director at Banc of America Investments and market leader for Global Wealth and Investment Management in Palm Beach and Tampa Bay.  Following the Bank of America acquisition of Merrill, he led Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in central Florida. 

In the community, Jack served on the board of trustees at the Tampa Museum of Art for 12 years and has recently taken a one year break from that Board. In addition, Jack served as chairman of the advisory board at the South Tampa YMCA and is currently an active Board member.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business management at Florida State University. At FSU, he was a Varsity Letterman on the FSU Tennis Team and after his eligibility ran out served Assistant Coach for his 5th year. Jack also was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Jack has been married for over 30 years and has three adult children.
