Fatima Sanandaji is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, in New York. Fatima works closely with a select group of clients and their family members, developing customized strategies designed to preserve, grow, and transfer wealth effectively. She leads a team of in-house specialists who work in concert to develop thoughtful and cohesive initiatives in multiple disciplines: investment management, trust and estate planning services, business financing and succession strategies, family office services, private banking, and philanthropy.

Fatima looks to serve as a trusted advisor, grounding her outreach in rigorous analysis, responsiveness, and consistency. As the key point of client contact, she serves as the nexus to the wider enterprise, harnessing the opportunities and capabilities that align with client objectives. Fatima has particular depth advising business owners, real estate investors, and inheritors, sensitive to the nuances that underlie each source of wealth. She enjoys fostering sound stewardship and facilitating informed decision-making by multiple generations of client families, cultivating meaningful engagement with a family's vision and values.

Prior to joining U.S. Trust, Fatima was a Relationship Manager and Vice President with HSBC Private Bank in New York, where she spent nine years advising private banking clients. Previously, she was a Relationship Officer with Citi Private Bank in New York. Fatima began her financial services career in 2001 at Morgan Stanley in its Strategic Services Group.

Fatima earned her B.A. from Vanderbilt University. Fatima serves as the Vice Chairman of the Young New Yorkers for the Philharmonic. An alumna of the Groton School, she volunteers as Form Fundraising Agent, a leadership role she has held since 1997.
