Christian (Chris) Cobb is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Portland, Oregon. He has a deep and multi-faceted understanding of the financial and economic markets – having served generations of clients with significant wealth, since 1993. 

In leading a talented team of seasoned professionals, Chris coordinates the formulation and implementation of customized strategies for clients on both coasts – across investment management, asset preservation, intergenerational wealth planning, cash flow planning, business succession planning, philanthropy and liability management. In serving successful business owners who anticipate the sale of their company, he works to help entire families shepherd assets around structural planning and other key considerations that come from large liquidity events. He also makes it a point to educate clients and their adult children on overall asset allocation and the value of staying disciplined in managing the responsibilities of sudden wealth.

Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank in 2017 (formerly U.S. Trust), Chris led the Oregon/SW Washington market at Umpqua Private Bank. As a market leader, he was responsible for private bank offices in Vancouver, Portland and Eugene. While there, he also integrated two advisor team acquisitions and led multiple teams advising high-net-worth families from a comprehensive balance sheet perspective. 
 
Chris holds a B.S. in management, marketing and political science from the University of Oregon. 

In his spare time, he volunteers with variety of local non-profits. An active hazelnut farmer, Chris also serves on the Nut Growers Society of Oregon, Washington and British Columbia. 

He and his wife, Tiffany, have three children and reside in Tigard, Oregon.
