Carolyn Vertovec, CFP© is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, in Kansas City. Carolyn works closely with high net worth families and business owners to discern their goals, streamline their financial lives, and capitalize on the range of resources and opportunities at their disposal. Committed to intensive service, Carolyn is inspired by a simple precept: treat others as you would like to be treated. She offers extensive experience in long-term planning, trust and estate planning services, cash-flow and liquidity analysis, and complex credit transactions.

As the key point of client contact, Carolyn develops close relationships with the families she serves, sensitive to their evolving needs and priorities. She works in concert with a team of locally-based specialists, each of whom brings in-depth insight in a particular area, from risk assessment and portfolio management, to next-generation stewardship and values-based philanthropy. Together, they advance customized strategies designed to grow, preserve, and transfer wealth effectively.

Carolyn began her financial services career at Merrill Lynch in 2006 after a successful career in nonprofit fund development in Washington, D.C. She worked as a Financial Solutions Advisor prior to joining U.S. Trust in 2015. A graduate of the University of Missouri, she holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.

Carolyn regularly volunteers with Bank of America’s community initiatives and is active with the Women’s Employment Network of Kansas City, Northland Hospice, and Mobility Matters, a nonprofit organization that supports the disabled in third-world countries. In addition, she is a member of several Employee Network groups, including LEAD for Women; The Military Support & Assistance Group; Inter-Generational Employee Network; and the Parents & Caregivers Network.
