Basil Barouki is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor in the East Bay/Silicon Valley offices of U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. Basil works with high and ultra high net worth individuals and families to design and develop financial strategies that respond to client needs. He creates customized strategies that span multiple disciplines, including investment management, philanthropic administration and sophisticated lending. Basil works with families of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives and affluent individuals. He has broad industry experience including the private equity sector within the energy and technology space, as well as financial services. Basil’s hands-on experience provides critical insight into the issues and challenges that business founders and executives face.
 
Prior to joining U.S. Trust, Basil was a Sr. Relationship Manager at Polaris Energy, a boutique private equity firm based in Milan, Italy. Basil also co-founded and led business development for Plastic Surgery Review, a healthcare technology venture based in Southern California. As a first-generation American who has worked in both the U.S. and Europe, Basil understands the needs of multi-generational families. He works with many ‘immigrants to wealth’ who focus on maintaining cultural and socio-economic values despite coming into significant wealth.

Basil earned his B.S. in Finance, Real Estate & Law with a minor in Business Economics from California State University, Long Beach. He is an active alumni at Leadership Contra Costa County and holds a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designation from Investments & Wealth Institute™.
