Amy Best is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management in St. Louis. As a Private Client Advisor, Amy is a central resource for a range of client needs, including investment management, trust and estate planning services, philanthropy, and credit and banking through Bank of America, N.A.

Amy works closely with multi-generational families, business owners and nonprofit institutions. She begins her client relationships by developing a thorough understanding of a client’s objectives, concerns, long-term aspirations and short-term needs. Amy then leverages her experience to help identify and channel the capabilities that clients require, leading a team of U.S. Trust® specialists to originate, present and foster customized strategies that help address each client’s unique circumstances.

Amy follows through on complex initiatives, facilitating sound communication across the organization and with external advisors, as appropriate. She provides each new relationship with a level of personalization, dedication and empathy that is her hallmark as an Advisor.

Amy joined Bank of America in 2000 as a Portfolio Analyst with Global Wealth & Investment Services Group before becoming a Private Client Manager in 2003. Amy was promoted to Private Client Advisor in 2014. She holds a B.S. from Eastern Illinois University and an M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis.

Active in the community, Amy serves on the board and executive committee of Variety, the Children’s Charity of St. Louis.  Variety awarded her its 2013 “Have a Heart, Lend a Hand” Award for outstanding contributions to the St. Louis Community.  Amy is also a board member for COPE24 (Changing our Parenting Experience).
